Development Process

Our goal is to get you what you want as quickly as possible. The end goal of our web applications is to help your business make more money. We create applications that are easy to use, and use features that help your business run more efficiently using any automation that is possible.

Our typical process is as follows:

• Define Requirements - We'll try to get an idea of your desires and requirements for the web application. We'll also give sugestion and ideas that we think will improve the performance and usability of the application. We may also suggest other features that may enhance your business in some way as well.
• Write a Specification - We will right a specification document listing out in detail the features of the web application. You will have an opportunity to sign off on this document or make any changes as you desire.
• Development - Once you have signed off on the specification document we will begin work and will give you project updates on a frequency relative to the estimated completion date. For example, we'll give daily updates for a project that is expected to be completed within one week, and biweekly updates for a project that will take a month, and weekly updates for projects lasting longer.
• User Guide Creation - Once the development is complete we will unit test the application and create a User Guide document specific to your web application. This will detail how to use the web application as well as how to manage any features in the site. It will also serve as a "tour" of the site and make sure that you hit every page - giving you an opportunity to test the site as well.
• Payment - After the site is complete we will send you a final invoice.
• Ongoing Maintenance and Support - We will develop a support plan that is specific for your application. Typically, we will charge an hourly rate for any change requests and data updates made after the spec is signed off on and the final product is delivered. However, any bugs will be handled free of charge for any length of time. Cosmetic updates and changes are usually included for a limited period of time.
